The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword News

Posted on September 25, 2011

I’ve been recently reading about some news for the upcoming Zelda game, Skyward Sword, and even though I have not posted anything about it on here, It would be good to start since the game comes on in November, and with September being half way over already, I figured now is a good idea for some news on this game.

Now, ether Miyamoto or Aonuma (Don’t know which) has announced that Skyward Sword will have an upgrade system, so if you have the clawshot, then you can upgrade it to the double clawshot, (just an example), and also, by the looks of it, you don’t buy the Hylian Shield, but you upgrade the normal shield for the Hylian Shield, and also, the game is said to have 50 to 100 hours of gameplay, which makes me think that there is ether a Master Quest version, like there is in Ocarina of Time, or a second quest, like the one from Wind Waker, which allows Link to wear his normal clothes in the game, instead of the hero’s clothes.

And after reading the recent Game Informer issue, Skyward Sword will have somewhat of the same map system as Wind Waker, and since your flying on a bird this time around, I really want to see the Wind Waker reappear, but I know that won’t happen, but some speculation is that the instrument in the game is going to be Zelda’s Harp, much like the Spirit Flute from Spirit Tracks, but it’s unknown if it is the harp.

Also, from reading some news from Zelda Universe, and Zelda Dungeon, there are going to be items from The Minish Cap, Twilight Princess, and I think Wind Waker, but the items that are appearing that I know of, are The Gust Jar, and the Double Clawshots.

and for those who don’t know, the main villain of the Zelda Series, Ganon, will not appear in this game, but since it takes place before Ocarina of Time, some story might be told about Ganondorf being the main villain of Ocarina of Time, but the name of the main antagonist for this game is, Ghirahim, a demon lord, only interested in getting Zelda, and he is the Lord of The Surface, or better known as Hyrule, which might lead to Zelda being Princess of Hyrule.

Anyway, that’s all I have to say about Skyward Sword, so until then, see you guys later.
